DISPATCHERS' PANEL

Paul Skehan at the dispatcher's panel. Dispatchers (usually two) control mainline operations with local Yardmasters at both Sierra Central and Pacific Flats taking responsibility for yard movements, arrivals and departures from the yards. The road uses radio communications between the mainline engineers and dispatchers.
