Browns Plains

This is a shot of the Portland Cement factory at Browns Plains. A major industrial town, Browns Plains is a branch of the Sierra Central railroad with an interchange at Pacific Flats.

Industies include the cement works, a grain store, power station, general industry and stock yards. Browns Plains also serves as the interchange for the mainline to western railroads with trackage to Los Angeles.
